Scott McGowan

SCOTT MCGOWAN has been seen at Dreamcatcher as a friendly neighbor, an agnostic homosexual, an adulterer, a cuckold, a ghost whisperer, an almond lover, an ADD dad and a singing money god. Also in NJ: Centenary Stage, Bickford and Surflight. Among Scott’s many regional performances include such diverse roles as an Indiana Jones doll, the Wicked Witch of the West and the emcee for Holiday Spectacular on Ice (on skates, no less!). More traditional roles include Tony in Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center, Marc in Art, and the Emcee in Cabaret. Scott has also performed and directed Forever Plaid ten times. He was awarded Best Supporting Actor in a Musical from the state of New Hampshire for two years running and also received the NJ Tony Award for the past two seasons given by Peter Filichia of The Star-Ledger as Best Actor in a Musical for his performances in Mack & Mabel and I Do! I Do!. Scott is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, a member of their governing body and extremely proud parent of Shaelyn and Essa.
