Roger Vellekamp, Treasurer 

Retired Vice President, Corporate Tax, Teachers Insurance Association of America - College Retirement Annuities Fund (TIAA-CREF); previously Second Vice President, Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company; prepared financial reports for 12 Miles West Theatre Company 

Teresa Guerino, Secretary 

Currently working at a NJ hedge fund for 10 years. Current Real Estate license. Member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Member of Christ Church in Summit. Past volunteer at SHS theatre department, SPARC member, forensics judge and Girl Scouts troop leader. B.A. in Communications/Theatre.

Dr. Paola A. Acosta-Díaz  

Current president of Speak Up Summit, a 25-year-old, non-profit organization that advocates for quality public education in Summit. Volunteer, bilingual reading programs for children, Summit Public Library. Member, Anti-Racism Committee of the Summit Interfaith Council. Awarded 2019 Shaping Summit Together MLK Jr. Keepers of the Dream award for advocacy work. Co-founder, Empowering Kids Organization, a local non-profit with the mission of creating strategies and programs to empower underprivileged kids to access equal opportunities in education.  

Georgette Barnes 

Currently the Retail Private Banker, Vice President at a prominent bank in Summit, NJ.  Over 35 years of professional banking experience. Past six years: board member for Premier Community Development Corporation (PCDC), of Plainfield NJ. Business Advocate for the Sustainable Committee for the City of Summit in 2008-2010. Education: Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md. (Accounting). Kean University of Union, NJ (Management Science).  

Jill Bernstein 

Active in local and school theatrical productions as producer and director; volunteer chair of First Night Summit for two years 

Lisa Brown 

Masters in Creative Art, Exhibiting Artist, Art teacher and workshop facilitator for "Art as Therapy" programs I developed; East Coast Supervisor for Creative Journal Expressive Arts program; Board of Interweave for 20 years 

Terri Tauber 

Retired; member, Summit Elks Lodge 1246;  Treasurer, Summit Democratic Committee; Campaign Treasurer for 

local/state Democratic candidates; coordinator, Summit High School Project Graduation 1998-2017;candidate for Summit Common Council, 2006, 2007 and 2008 

Heather Pistell (Emeritus) 

Independent child care consultant; Instructional aide for the Summit Public Schools; former Youth Director for The Connection for Women and Families in Summit; Co-chair of Music and Fine Arts Committee for Christ Church in Summit; past president of SPARC
