is located at 120 Morris Avenue, a 15-minute walk downhill from the
shops, restaurants and train station in downtown Summit.

Oakes Center has free street parking and a small free parking lot. Arrive early to secure a space in the parking lot at 20 Ashwood Ave. Follow the short path from the parking lot to reach Oakes by foot. View parking lot
Street parking is free on Russell Place and Ashwood Avenue (west side only). There is no street parking on Morris Avenue. If you are running late we recommend you proceed directly to the Summit Rec Center at 100 Morris Ave for ample free parking. View Rec Center
From the New Jersey Turnpike
- Proceed to exit 14, “I-78”
- After toll get on Interstate 78 west, local lanes
- Follow “Interstate 78” directions below
From the Garden State Parkway
- Proceed to exit 142B to Interstate 78 west
- Follow “Interstate 78” directions below
From Interstate 280
- Proceed to exit 5A, “Livingston”
- Follow Livingston Avenue 3 miles and continue straight onto JFK Parkway for another 3.5 miles
- At the Short Hills Mall keep right and follow signs for route 24 east, then keep left on ramp
- Follow “Route 24” directions below
From Interstate 78
- From the west (going east)
- Take I-78 east to exit 45, “Glenside Ave., Summit”
- Turn left onto Glenside Ave. and proceed 1.2 miles to second traffic light (bear slight left at first traffic light)
- Turn right onto Morris Ave, then Oakes Center is 2 blocks ahead at Russell Place
For parking lot, from Morris Ave. turn right on Ashwood (traffic light before Russell Place) and left into lot
- From the east (going west)
- Take I-78 west to exit 48, “Route 24”
- This is a 3-lane express merge from the local lanes
- Follow “Route 24” directions below
From Route 24
- Take route 24 to exit 9A
- From I-78, stay far right, as this is the first exit on route 24; on the ramp, keep right and then turn right onto Broad Street
- From route 24 east (Morristown, JFK Parkway, I-287), keep straight on the exit ramp and turn right onto Broad Street at the traffic light ahead
- Proceed about 1 mile on Broad Street and turn left onto Ashwood Ave. (Exxon on left)
- Go 1/2 block to Morris Avenue
- For Oakes parking lot (can fill up), proceed 200 feet straight to parking lot on left at 20 Ashwood Ave.; follow foot path to Oakes View parking lot
- For main entrance on Russell Place, turn left onto Morris Ave. then first right onto Russell Place
- Wheelchair ramp is on driveway side of Oakes Center
- Park for free on Russell Place (can fill up) and Ashwood Ave. (west side of streets only)
- If you’re running late, drive past Oakes and park fast and free at the Summit Rec Center at 100 Morris Ave.; the rec center is a 3-minute walk to Oakes

Summit is served by NJ Transit trains on the Morristown Line and
Gladstone Branch, collectively called the Morris & Essex lines.
Check multiple train times. Since Summit is an express stop, sometimes a later express train will arrive sooner than an earlier local train.
Buy tickets in advance; there is a penalty for purchasing onboard trains. View schedules & fares
From New York City
- PENN STATION: Take any NJ Transit Morris & Essex lines train that stops at Summit station
- WEST VILLAGE or WORLD TRADE CENTER: Take PATH to Hoboken, then any NJ Transit Morris & Essex lines train that stops at Summit station (Note: PATH requires a separate turnstile fare, payable by cash or Metrocard)

- Take any NJ Transit train to Newark Broad Street or Secaucus Junction
- Transfer to any NJ Transit Morris & Essex lines train that stops at Summit station

WALKING DIRECTIONS
from Summit Train Station Map it
(About 8 blocks, 13 minutes)
- Go upstairs into the train station and exit through the doors that say East Broad Street
- Follow path diagonally to the left, then turn left onto Broad Street
- Walk 1/2 mile downhill on Broad St. past the car dealerships (keep left; the right side has no sidewalk farther down)
- At the fork for Park Ave. there’s a much wider and better sidewalk if you fork left onto Park Ave.
- Either way, continue 1 more block to Ashwood Ave.
- Turn right onto Ashwood Ave.
- Go 1 or 2 short blocks, then turn left onto Morris Ave.
- Walk 1 short block to Russell Place
- Dreamcatcher is at Oakes Center on the corner of Morris Ave. and Russell Place (entrance on Russell)
