Welcome to Dreamcatcher! We're a small professional non-profit theatre company based in South Orange, NJ. Our mission is to tell stories with an intimacy that allows artists and audiences to connect; stories that reflect our lives, relationships and our world today. Dreamcatcher has a core company of professional local actors who perform contemporary work that entertains and challenges, and has as its heart a belief in the essential goodness of people. Also central to our mission is the enrichment of young people's lives through theatre, both through training and through participation. We seek to expose theatergoers and students to ideas and lives like and unlike our own, with the intention of awakening their imaginations and creating empathy for others.
