Dreamcatcher’s home is at the Baird, the South Orange community center for recreation and cultural affairs.

The Baird is located at 5 Mead Street in Meadowland Park, a short walk from the shops, restaurants and train station in downtown South Orange. Our theatre is on the third floor of the Baird.

From the New Jersey Turnpike

• Proceed to exit 15W, "I-280"
• After toll get on Interstate 280 west
• Follow “280 Westbound” directions below

From the Garden State Parkway - Southbound

• Take the GSP south to exit 145 to Interstate 280 west
• Follow “280 Westbound” directions below

From 280 - Westbound

• Take I-280 west to exit 10, "Northfield Avenue"
• Take first left at traffic light onto Northfield Avenue
• Proceed three traffic lights to Gregory Avenue
• Turn left onto Gregory Avenue, which becomes Wyoming Avenue in South Orange
• When Wyoming ends, turn left onto South Orange Avenue; go a few blocks downhill
• At traffic light turn left onto North Ridgewood Avenue
• Take first right turn onto Mead Street
• The Baird Center is on the left, just past the tennis courts
• Dreamcatcher is on the third floor

From 280 - Eastbound

• Take I-280 east to exit 9, "Mount Pleasant Avenue"
• Turn right onto Mt. Pleasant Ave. and go to the first traffic light
• Turn left onto Gregory Avenue, which eventually becomes Wyoming Avenue in South Orange
• When Wyoming ends, turn left onto South Orange Avenue; go a few blocks downhill
• At traffic light turn left onto North Ridgewood Avenue
• Take first right turn onto Mead Street
• The Baird Center is on the left, just past the tennis courts
• Dreamcatcher is on the third floor

From the Garden State Parkway - Northbound

• Take the GSP north to exit 142, "I-78 East" (keep far right at the toll prior to the exit)
• Get on I-78 east to the first exit (#54) and keep bearing right to make a U-turn to get on I-78 west
• Follow the "I-78 Westbound" directions below

From I-78 - Westbound

• Take I-78 west to exit 50B
• Turn right onto Vauxhall Road and go three traffic lights to Valley Street
• Turn right onto Valley Street and continue through Maplewood, into South Orange
• At the big intersection with South Orange Avenue (510), go straight
• Take the first left turn onto Taylor Place
• Turn right at the stop sign onto Vose Avenue
• Take the first left onto Mead Street
• Go under railroad bridge and turn right into the Baird Center lot
• Dreamcatcher is on the third floor

From I-78 - Eastbound

• Take I-78 east to exit 49B, "Maplewood"
• Keep right, go past the on-ramp for I-78 west, then quickly take the first exit for Valley Street (this is a jughandle exit on the right that directs you left onto Valley Street)
• Continue on Valley Street through Maplewood, into South Orange
• At the big intersection with South Orange Avenue (510), go straight
• Take the first left turn onto Taylor Place
• Turn right at the stop sign onto Vose Avenue
• Take the first left onto Mead Street
• Go under railroad bridge and turn right into the Baird Center lot
• Dreamcatcher is on the third floor
